The candidate will be part of the General Accounting department. In line with established policies and procedures, she/he will follow up and perform general accounting operations, to control balance sheets/profit and loss accounts to ensure accuracy of accounting records.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Perform and verify accounting entries/activities in an accurate and timely manner
• Prepare annual report and support in the audit process of entities.
• Maintain contacts with relevant internal and external parties to answer queries, gather information and resolve pending issues
• Collect all information necessary to perform monthly reconciliation and annual closing in compliance with company's quality standards
• Pay special attention to quality of work (centres allocations, descriptions fields)
• Identify opportunities to process and internal control improvements and propose and/or control implementations of solutions
• May also participate in projects within the department

Technical profile

• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• The ideal candidate will have an experience of 2 to 4 years in an accounting position
• SAP experience (FICO) is a plus
• Knowledge of IFRS is an asset
• Fluent in English and in either French or Dutch
• Proficient with MS Office suite
